CELTA is the original TEFL course and provides initial training leading to a Certificate in English Language Teaching to adults. It is intended for those without previous experience who wish to enter the profession and for teachers with no previous training.

Teaching in the US involves rapid talking and lots of repetition, both of which are confusing for English learners. Will I receive the same qualification studying online?
Yes, the certificate from Cambridge English is exactly the same, whether you study face-to-face or online.
Can I study the CELTA course part-time?
Yes, we have both full-time and part-time options. The full-time course takes place over 5 weeks, 4 days a week (Wednesdays free) and the part-time course over 13 weeks (with one week off in the middle). The part-time course is held on one evening a week and Saturdays.
