Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I had no other choice than to do my CELTA online – and I’m so glad I did! The course was well organized, and the tutors were always available to answer my questions – and there were many! It was intense but oh so worth it. After I finished the course, it took me less than a month to get a job as ESL teacher in France, and I haven’t had a break ever since. Doing CELTA gave me confidence in my skills and the tools to teach English efficiently to speakers of other languages and being trained to teach online is a real bonus: I can adapt to the unexpected lockdowns and manage to keep in touch with my students.
