Katerina Kazanovska has been working in ELT and teacher training for over 15 years. She holds CELTA, DELTA, IHCYLT, CAM, a BA in Linguistics and an MSc in Education. Katerina has taught a wide range of learners, from young children to adults, and has extensive experience in both classroom and online contexts. Alongside her work as a teacher trainer, she runs a pre-school in Riga, Latvia and leads an educational startup, developing a reading methodology and materials to support literacy and reading skills for Latvian children. Her professional interests include teaching literacy in pre-school contexts, learner autonomy and the use of technology in enriching teaching and learning. Outside of her professional life, Katerina enjoys learning languages – currently Swedish to keep up with her son – as well as practising yoga and watching old movies.
